Vivian is in her 19th week now, almost half way through the pregnancy. In few short months, we will become parents! I am already starting to feel the responsibilities and the pressure to be the best parents we can be and to provide a warm and safe home for our baby.
Today we received the results of Vivian’s amniocentesis test from the lab, the result was very good, all the genetic screening turned out to be negative, meaning our baby is genetically health. The DNA also confirmed that we’ll be having a boy, which we already knew from the results of two ultrasound exams. The results of the amnio kind of put everything in to perspective, boy or girl, cute or ugly, didn’t really mattered to us anymore, we just wanted a healthy baby. We are blessed, looks like we are through with the first hurdle, our baby is A-okay!
This was the best news I have ever heard in my life…
